How To Add An Adsense Link The first thing you have to be aware of is that Adsense has some very strict rules about adding links to your page. For starters, you can only add three blocks of links to any one web page. Adding more than that will be in violation of their terms of service. And besides, it won't matter anyway as they will only show the first three links that they find on the page. So play by the rules and you'll be fine. Another thing you have to understand about adding Adsense links, or more correctly, Adsense code, is that Adsense gives you quite a few options as to what kind of links to add. You can add single ad links, or blocks of three ads, or banners, or a number of combinations. So before you even go about heading over to the Adsense site to create your Adsense code, you better take a good long look at the format of your web page, see what kind of space you have available, and choose your links accordingly. For example, if you want to place an Adsense block in the middle of an article, which is a very effective method, you don't want to place a banner there. It will not look professional at all. Probably a block of three text ads will be more appropriate. The Adsense site itself is very easy to follow as far as creating your link. Simply log into your account and go to Adsense setup. If you are thinking about putting Adsense links on your content site, then choose Adsense for content. You'll then be given the choice between ad units and text units. You probably want to choose ad units as they give more options. Finally, you'll be given a number of formats to choose from, which you can view on their formats page. Just choose the format you want and then when you're done, you'll be given your Adsense code, which you simply copy and paste onto your web page in the spot you want it to appear. The process is actually very simple. The hard part is getting people to your site, which is a topic best left for another time. The key with adding an Adsense link is placement. The best places are at the top, middle and bottom of each web page. This way you have three shots at getting somebody to click on your ads. Adding an Adsense link is not rocket science. Making an income from it is a totally different story. To YOUR Success, Tim Christian Miller- www.DownloadPub.com |
